Mother Knows Best on Dates and Privacy
Dear readers, a 20 year old writes that his mother asks intrusive questions about his dates and even kissing, arguing for privacy and adult treatment. The columnist notes that mothers often see their grown sons as teens, but suggests laughing off inquiries to ease tension and gradually reduce such probing. A related letter from a Disturbed Housewife discusses weekend plans, service life, and conflicts over time with a baby. The piece ends with wedding notes for Florence Chorman and John Gordon Dunmore.
