Viet Cong pull back from Saigon amid retreat toward Cambodian frontier

U.S. intelligence says division-sized Viet Cong and North Vietnamese units withdraw from Saigon toward the Cambodian frontier. The move follows heavy B52 bombing as 11 provinces near Saigon show a 67 percent drop in activity last week, with smaller local forces left to shell and probe into mid October.

Prisoner information sought by relatives at talks in Paris

North Vietnamese officials gave no indication they would meet 14 Americans seeking word on missing or captured GIs.
