Traffic mishaps injure child and woman in weekend crashes

A year and a half old pedestrian and a Lompoc woman suffered minor injuries in separate weekend accidents. Delise G Christensen, 12, was driving without a license and reportedly without the owner's permission when her motorcycle collided with the child. Darlene M Menelly, 21, lost control of her car at M Street and North Avenue, striking a signal stand and destroying the vehicle. A chain reaction crash on Lompoc Casmalia Road involved three motorists. names include Antonio Mercado Sotero Jr, Donald Kraus, and Michael Meehan, with a Ford station wagon identified as the hit-run vehicle. Two others escaped injury as a third motorist forced in front of them near Lompoc.
