Americans detained in Paris over hashish possession
Two young Americans were detained by Paris police on possible drug charges after a raid in a student area. Richard Gauthier of New York City and Martha Ross of Santa Barbara admitted buying hashish in Pakistan for personal use, but police allege they tried to sell some.

Funeral services were pending today for 19 year old Greg Collier who apparently took his life yesterday by piping carbon monoxide into his station wagon. A note to a girlfriend was found on the car floor and the body was found near Santa Rosa Road by Highway 1. Graveside services will be held for Cynthia Barth at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. The year old infant born Sept 3 1968 was the Mor ris foster child. McPeek Family Mortuary is handling arrangements.
