Swinging party raises funds for Lompoc Girls Club benefit

The Catholic Daughters of America Court La Purisima 1267 sponsor a dime-a-dip dinner tonight at Knights of Columbus Hall Chestnut Ave to fund court charities. Native Daughters Hold State Dinner and Bazaar

Native Daughters of America La Purisima Parlor will hold its annual enchi lada dinner and bazaar December 7 in Veterans Memorial Hall. An art contest for grades 10-12, open to non art students, invites California history themed works with prizes of 100 75 and 25. The contest proceeds from local to state level ending at Oakland next June.

Visiting Companions of the Forest Highlight October Trips

Virginia Grossini of Lompoc visited four circles this month with grand chief companion of California. Mrs. Frank Winter joined Circle Verbano in Alameda, while Mrs. Frances Domingos accompanied visits to Hamlet Circle Oakland Court Concordia Sacramento and Marguerite Woodland. Reports were shared at the Honda Circle meeting in Chemical Workers Union Hall. A rummage sale success and an ordered household item were noted. A luncheon for Past Chief Companions was announced for Tuesday Oct 14 at Lom poc Valley Bowl with reservations requested. Refreshments were provided by Mrs. Harold Edman and served by Mrs. Jack Henning.
