Banks to Merge in Bakersfield and Santa Ynez
Plans for the merger of American National Bank and Santa Ynez Valley Bank were announced by Rayburn S. Dezember and Helmer Harrison. The boards approved terms, pending stockholder and regulator approvals, with over 44 million dollars in combined resources. Both banks will retain staff and operate as usual post merger. customers should benefit from expanded services. Quintron Systems formed in Santa Ana with Major General USAF retired Bleymaier as chair and a leadership team. the firm will serve commercial and government markets. Quinnipiac College evening students may charge tuition this fall via a local bank affiliated with Master Charge.
