Board approves minor redistricting changes to protect Sainz seat
County Supervisors backtracked to keep Darwin Sainz in the Fifth District by restoring a northwest Los Alamos area. The change shifts Sainz remaining voters and redraws boundaries toward U.S. 101 and the old state highway. A south coast slice west of Gaviota Creek is added to the Fourth District to balance.
