New head chef to lead County Employees steak barbecue
The County Employees Association names Walter Alves as head chef for the annual steak barbecue at Nosoqui Falls Park on Sunday September 24 starting at 1 p.m. The park lies in the Santa Ynez Valley south of Solvang. Tickets cost 175 for large steak 125 for half a steak and 50 cents for hot dogs with sides. Guests attend with own service. arts and crafts show and door prizes promised.

Tax group backs property tax reduction fund plan
