Hancock seeks help for grid contest in Chico

Hancock College football seeks public contributions to fund transporting 56 players to a nonconference game against Butte College in Chico on October 4. Boosters Plan 1969 Lompoc High Carnival Kickoff

The Lompoc High School Booster Club will start the 1969 sports season with a football kickoff carnival at Lompoc Senior High School on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Braves varsity intra-squad scrimmage follows at 8 p.m. in Huyck Stadium. Booths run by classes and clubs. admissions to the scrimmage are free, with travel and lodging costs for the team noted.

Cabrillo water polo team fills eight lettermen for season
