Lompoc Council to decide fifth member again tomorrow
City editor Steve La Rue reports the Lompoc City Council, shorthanded with four members, will attempt to choose a fifth tonight to avoid a state mandated special election next March. Former President Nixon reaches an agreement with the government giving him all legal title and literary rights to White House and Executive Office Building materials. Tapes may be destroyed after Nixon’s death or by Sept 1 1984. materials kept for now in National Archives and later moved to a state storage facility in Laguna Niguel California.
