Moody wins World Series of Golf in Akron

Cabrillo Girls Lead In Griffith Park One Mile Run

Cabrillo’s girls cross country team opened the season at the Griffith Park event. Diana House led in the women’s division with 13th at 7 46 among 28 entrants. Named Cabrillo runners dominated the 10 to 14 year olds with top finishers Linda Snyder Cheryl Lundberg Dianne Vaccaro and Margie Phipps. The next meet is Sept 20 at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura coached by Maury Sipes.
