The flight was directed down the Western Test Range by a combat crew from the 90th Strategic Missile Wing based at Francis Warren AFB. Karen S Moore 78 died Tuesday at Lompoc District Hospital. Funeral Friday at 3 p.m. at McPeek Family Chapel with Rev Kenneth Boyd officiating. Interment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Born in Denmark, she lived in Lompoc 16 years. Survivors include son Ellis Moore, sisters Elna Lewis and Nina Reid, brother George Knudsen, and grandson James E Moore. She was active in Miguelito OES, Lompoc Grange, and Senior Citizens Club.
