Graveside services were held for Tom Parks at Oak Hill Cemetery in Solvang. The 77 year old, born 1893 in Illinois, owned the Top Hat Ranch on Highway 246 and led California vegetable growing from the late 1920s to the 1950s. He served on multiple boards, led the Santa Barbara County Federal Land Bank for 27 years, and was a long time Elks Masons and shrine member. Survivors include his wife Betty. Services by Paaske's Santa Ynez Valley Chapel.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with interment at Mesa Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 to 6 p.m. at Gregory McPeek Mortuary Chapel. Gutierrez was born in Arizona in 1943 and moved to Lompoc eight months ago with his wife Sarah. Survivors include his wife four daughters Sheri Liz Lora Debbia Gutierrez of Arizona a son Raymond Gutierrez of Arizona a step son Kenneth Gutierrez of Lompoc father Gilberto Gutierrez of Arizona and mother Elvira Valdillez of Lompoc.
