Models announced for Cancer Society show in Lompoc

Plans nearly finished for the annual Cancer Society fashion show at the Elks Lodge Sunday. Janet Hofmiester, crusade chairman, announced models including couples Sol Lefkowitz and wife Art Scott and others, with Junior Alpha Club participants Linda Englehardt and Karen Griswold. Cocktails at 6 30 p m, show at 7 30 p m, steak barbecue at 8 30 p m. Tickets 5 50, at Security Pacific Bank and Hideway Boutique or at the door.

Lutheran bazaar set for November 2 and 3

Peace Lutheran Church at 1000 W Ocean Ave invites the general public to a two day bazaar starting Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Ann Miller directs with church volunteers. six activity areas offer baked goods attic items stitchery holiday decor hot foods games and pony rides Saturday with free parking on church grounds.

Xi Omicron Tau Chapter Hosts Tea and Donations

Xi Omicron Tau Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met last week with Mrs. Roy Graves presiding. Reports were given by Mrs. Dale Steele and Mrs. Shef Brown. The chapter approved a gift to the Lompoc Boys Club and to the Cystic Fibrosis Association. They plan a preferential tea on Nov. 4 to honor new pledges and to send a gavel to former member Mrs. Joyce Holt in England to aid starting a new chapter.

Beta Sigma Pi Omega Pi held a Halloween meeting with a haunted house entrance by Mrs. Ketrenia Hall and Mrs. Cindy McClain. Guests enjoyed hot cider as Mrs. Joanne White led opening ritual and Miss Connie Korczak and Mrs. Fran Chatterley planned the next cultural program All Together Now.
