Santa Ynez River crossing project placed in nonfunded group
The Santa Ynez Community Services District project to route wastewater via a river crossing at Alisal Bridge near Solvang has been classified as a nonfunded priority. State Water Resources Control Board engineer James L. Waters notes the crossing as the cost effective solution despite limited grant funds and pending final engineering estimates. A workshop is planned for November 9 at the SMID center with a WRCB hearing officer to hear input.
