A Halloween celebration at Union Hall features the Gentlemen Band for round and square dancing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Attendees are invited to a pumpkin pie walk and a poison potato dance with country dress encouraged. Tickets at the door are 3.50.
A salad luncheon in Ken Adam Park welcomed Maj Britt Ekloff cousin of Maj Britt Dias as guests presented her a butterfly necklace for years of work with Lompoc Valley Art Association events. Mrs Dias received Polaroid snapshots and sketches to remember the day.
The Valley of the Flowers annual sectional crowned winners Friday October 15 to Sunday October 17 across North South and East West events. Robin Gail Goddard and Dana Wilson Batchelor exchanged vows October 16 before about 200 guests with Rev. Murray Gibbons officiating.
