Children's Home Society to hold statewide meeting in Montecito

The state board of the Children's Home Society of California meets November 8 at the Biltmore Hotel Montecito. Luncheon reservations are $8 with the Santa Barbara office at 824 Bath Street 962 9191. David Harriman will report on 1973 74. Julian Brantley will speak. one third of directors to be elected.

Annual Methodist bazaar blends Mexican flavor at church

United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church turn their church school into a festive Mexican marketplace for the annual bazaar on November 12. Shops showcase bed and bath items Susana Wesley circle and handmade crafts from Miriam and Rebekah circles. The event runs Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon at 925 North F Street with a Friday restaurant serving hot dogs and pies.
