Politicos discuss ecological issues in public panel

Rusher Lecture Moves to Student Center at Allan Hancock

William A. Rusher, famed conservative publisher, will not present tonight at Allan Hancock College. The lecture now takes place at the student center on campus north of the administration building at 8 p.m. Parking is suggested in the lots north of the administration building. The item also notes city plans for 70-foot light standards at Ryan Memorial Park and a $5,000 purchase from Wrecking Corporation of America for the rights with $500 down.

Lompoc Valley Kennel Club Plans October Dinner Meeting

The October meeting of the Lompoc Valley Kennel Club Inc. will be a dinner meeting Monday at the Colonial Inn. The club will pay 50 percent of the dinner cost. Reservations may be made by calling Mrs. Ruth Stenback. Social hour starts at 7 p.m. Members and prospective joiners are invited to attend.

Lompoc Hospital plans Phase III with a second story adding 24 medical beds 10 pediatric and six coronary care beds raising total to 128. Phase IV may create a separate nursing home facility and home visiting care. New personnel director post approved and ICU daily rate rises to 75 dollars.

Lompoc Public Works Opens Wastewater Plant to Public

The Sanitation Division of the Lompoc Public Works Department will hold an open house at the Wastewater Treatment Plant on Central Avenue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow. Residents may view the facility and its function.
