Stolen painting at Kamex Gallery valued at $1000
A painting by Terry Gordon Pardue, once sold for 185 to Donald Capistran, valued at 1000, was reported stolen from Kamex Art Gallery at 130 N 1 St. Edward Jakowicy, an art dealer, reported the theft. The scene depicts an open field with mountains and a wine barrel on a cart.

Planners Lead in Attendance on County Planning Commission
County Planning Commission members Robert C. Lilley and Darwin Sainz posted top attendance for the quarter ended September 30. Obituary John M. Hamon is Buried in Atascadero
Private funeral services were held today in Atascadero for John M. Hamon 67 who died Sunday at Lompoc District Hospital. McPeek Family Mortuary handled local arrangements. Born September 7 1904 in Kentucky he had lived in Lompoc the last decade and worked as a self employed house painter. Survivors include daughter Gloria Beissel Garden Grove sister Velma Franklin Memphis Tenn and brothers Joel Louisville Ky James Indianapolis Ind and Morgan Atlanta Ga.
