Collier backs Reagan tax limit as CTA mobilizes against Prop 1

California sales climb 15 percent in second quarter
Californians spent 762 dollars per person on taxable goods in the second quarter, a 15 percent rise and 22.7 percent with gasoline tax, the state Board of Equalization reports.
