Burglary at Moore Mill Solved. Youth Arrested
Police report the Moore Mill and Lumber Co burglary has been solved with a 14 year old runaway detained by authorities. The store at 320 North D St. lost pocket knives and $134 in small change. The youth was turned over to juvenile authorities.

Funeral mass for 10 year old Crista Marie Grohn who died Tuesday at UCLA Medical Center will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in Chapel 1 at Vandenberg Air Force Base with Father DiTucci officiating. Burial follows at Lompoc Cemetery. Starbuck Mortuary arranged services. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Grohn of 667 Korina Ave. Also surviving are two brothers James and John and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Kight of Texas and Mrs. Ellen Grohn.

Bandits armed with submachine guns seized the Bank of America in downtown Beirut and held hostages in a noon raid. Intermittent shooting lasted over three hours as police sealed a two block area.
