Universal cancer vaccine still years away, says Emory expert
Dr. Loren J. Humphrey of Emory University says a universal cancer vaccine is feasible but embryonic and years from wide use. He notes progress in stimulating natural immunity and predicts better cancer control in about 10 years, while curing cancer remains distant. He spoke during a panel at the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons.
