Xi Lambdas test sense of touch in Halloween program

Xi Lambda Iota Beta Sigma Phi members blindfolded to compare glass and pillow items in a sensitivity exercise titled Sense of Touch. The meeting at Knights of Columbus Hall covered a Halloween program for five local chapters and included social events with dancing, a football game recap, and plans for a 1967 Lompoc High reunion during Pioneer Society celebrations.

Hospital party honors Mrs. Margaret Moser at Lompoc care unit

Mrs. Margaret Moser, 80, long term care resident at Lompoc Hospital, celebrated a birthday with family and friends. The event featured games, cake, gifts and a performance by the Lompoc Sr. Citizens Nuts and Bolts Band. Moser has 12 children, 43 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren. She was born in Greeley Nebraska.

Hollywood talent to headline Lompoc club luncheon
