Beattie Park funding approved in state park bond act
Lompoc receives 104427 to develop Beattie Park as part of Governor Reagan signed Sept 30 budget granting 41,119,064 for 298 local park projects under the 1974 Bond act. Santa Barbara County projects include Memorial Park Carpinteria Isla Vista Children’s Park Lake Los Carneros and Waller Park. Bond funds total 250 million for state and local parks with 90 million for local governments.
