Four state narcotics agents suspended over Whittier raid death
Four state narcotics agents involved in a Whittier raid that left 22 year old Haywood Henry Dyer dead have been suspended by the State Attorney General's office. Identified were senior agent W G Miller Alan Marshall J W Leavy and Michael Kelley. The rifle shot mounted a Vernon Police sergeant Frank Sweeney in the raid with the bullet entering from the upstairs floor. An inquest is set for Friday and funeral services for Dyer, survived by a widow and infant son, were held Monday.
