Salmon Returns Boost Ocean Angling After Cold Start

Ocean fishing prospects brightened Sunday as a handful of boats returned with limits of salmon weighing 10 to 18 pounds. Freshwater reports highlight strong Nacimiento Lake bass and white bass, with crappie and catfish improving amid seasonal changes. DFG proposals include salmon gear restrictions and new trout, bullhead, and bear/mountain lion rules. A bald eagle bounty offer of 500 dollars was announced by the National Wildlife Federation.

Cabrillo Polo Team Takes Second at Buena Tournament
