Damage claim set for County Bowl crowd damage
County officials plan to award a 747 dollar damage claim for shrubbery seating and fencing damaged by gate crashers at the September 24 Irish minstrel event at the Santa Barbara County Bowl. Estates seeks two county agriculture preserves in Santa Ynez Valley
The County Planning Commission received an application from the estate of Anna V Crawford to set a 1648 acre agricultural preserve spanning five parcels of non-prime grazing land along State Highways 246 and 154 near Santa Ynez. Public hearing date to be announced. A separate Oct 8 hearing was set for Harold N Skou on a 491 acre preserve near Los Alamos. Additional hearings for Theodore and Elizabeth Chamberlin on 300 673 and 560 acre sites north of Los Olivos were scheduled for the same afternoon.
