Circus themed sorority event honors rushees of Alpha Zeta

Alpha Zeta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha hosted a Wish I Was A Kid Again party with popcorn, peanuts, balloons and circus music. Clown name tags broke the ice as rushees mingled, with prizes awarded for games and a farewell coffee for Mrs. Dale Anderson before her move to New Mexico.

Open Pairs Bridge Winners in Lompoc Vandenberg Week

The Officers' Club hosted the open pairs championship on Sept 29 with Jenna Longtin and Norbert Baumgarten scoring 128 points to win. Runner up pairs included Donna Swinnen and Teresa Turnbull with 122 and Mickey Alven with Dottie Young at 121. Other recent results list multiple first places by Ruth and Herschel Roberts and Jim Longtin, with regular and novice games scheduled at Alpha Clubhouse and Vandenberg Officers' Club. Catholic Women plan home baked goods sale this Sunday

Following morning masses at La Purisima Church the Council of Catholic Women will hold a sale in the parish hall across Olive Ave. All women of the parish are asked to contribute pastries pies cakes cookies and breads. Doughnuts and coffee or chocolate will be served for a nominal fee.
