Supervisors bolster plan against rabies in county

The Board of Supervisors approved three temporary Animal Control positions in the Health Department to combat a growing rabies issue in Santa Ynez Valley and beyond. They also moved 7,534 for equipment, added two vehicles, four shotguns for safety, and a lab courier, with PED funds and a March end date for PE P recruitment.

Board stalls plan to pull county support for Goleta annexation
