Namath Returns Delivers for Jets in Narrow Loss to 49ers

Braves sweep 4A prelims in CIF meet at Long Beach

Lompoc High cross country team dominated the 4A prelims at Cal State Long Beach winning the top four places and earning a spot in the Saturday final. Terry Williams led the way with a 9 26 in the second heat, followed by Roger Hansen Tony Nunez and Alvin Gillmore. The Braves prepare to face Costa Mesa and Dos Pueblos in a bid for the title.
