Stormy Lompoc Valley flood causes several minor highway crashes
Stormy skies dumped over half an inch of rain on the Lompoc Valley overnight flooding intersections and prompting a rash of minor highway mishaps. No injuries were reported in Lompoc though CHP in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo logged dozens of cars slipping into center dividers on Highway 101. The storm brought .77 inch of rain, season total 1.48 inches, versus 1.64 inches at this time last year.
