Weekend bazaars and a church country fair planned

Two annual bazaars take place this weekend. The Del Norte Mobile Estates Recreation Center hosts a two day sale of homemade goods from 10 am to 5 pm Friday and 9 am to 4 pm Saturday with a painting by Dee Sudbury as a highlight. Queen of Angels Catholic Church hosts Country and Western Days November 17-18 with a Long Branch Tea Room Saturday and a sirloin steak barbecue Sunday served noon to 6 pm. adults pay 3 dollars and children 1.50.

Dental associates mark natal days at Lusby home party

Red Cross recognizes September and October volunteers

The Red Cross honors Cindy Heinrich and Trudi Letson as volunteers of the month for September and October respectively. Cindy logged 62 hours in September and Trudi 63 hours in October for the youth program of the American Red Cross and the Lompoc District Hospital. Both are praised for leadership, cooperation, and dependable civic service.
