Two Teens Freed in Yenney Slaying Case
Two of three suspects in the Yenney murder and rape case near Oxnard were released after the victim could not identify them. Shooting suspect due in court in Lompoc
Miller Norris 45 of Sacramento charged with attempted murder in the Vandenberg Village shooting appeared in Lompoc Municipal Court for a plea. Bail was raised from 25000 to 50000 by Judge Terrill F. Cox. Victim David Bruce McPherson 26, of 4250 Polaris Ave, remained in the ICU at Lompoc Hospital in improved condition with a shotgun recovered from the scene at Village Inn parking lot. Further details and motive were not disclosed.

Suspects in Schleyer murder case captured
Dutch authorities say they captured at least one Baader Meinhof member in Amsterdam after a night shootout left two suspects wounded. Identified were Christian Michael Wackernagel 26 and Gert Richard Schneider 28. Police say the Red Army Faction expanded its activities to Holland and note the men had been under observation since the Maurits Caransa kidnapping. Three policemen were injured but in satisfactory condition.
