Fugitives delay escape plan as snow halts light plane

Two escapees from Wadena County Jail held a family of four at a northwestern Minnesota farmhouse and sought a light Cessna 182 at Wadena Airport for dawn getaway. Freezing drizzle reduced visibility to about one mile delaying the evacuation and hostage release.
