Sandy Mangum to entertain AARP chapter meeting
Lompoc Chapter 557 of the American Association of Retired Persons will meet Thursday November 18 in the Veterans Memorial Building at 1 30 p m. Entertainment includes Sandy Mangum and her guitar. Nominations for officers and a new board are planned for 1977 with installation by Grant W Bernard. Alternate nominations may be offered from the floor.

More than 100 friends surprised S J Hap Ward at the Masonic Temple banquet room for his 84th birthday. Edna Maye Bishop and Mrs William B Hanson organized the event with fall Halloween decor, a large cake, and prizes for costume contest. Community Women's Club Plans November Buffet and Events
The Lompoc Community Women's Club reports an executive board meeting at Marialyce Shaw's home with president Jackie Molihan presiding. November 10 luncheon features a ham and turkey buffet at The Royal Coach for $3.00. reservations via two phone numbers. Garden section meets November 16 at 425 South C Street for corsage making and Thanksgiving centerpiece planning led by Dottie Chilson. Additional Busy Bees group meeting on November 29 to finish preparations for the December 3 holiday bazaar at Del Norte Mobile Estates Recreation Center.
