Three robbers held up a Beverly Hills hotel birthday party at the Beverly Hilton, tying up about 100 guests as they arrived and escaping with an estimated $50,000 in cash and jewelry. The holdup began around 9 p.m. and lasted past 1 a.m. Three women freed their bonds and escaped to a neighboring suite.
