With the Assembly in recess the California Senate meets for a Memorial Day session to begin a pre election week schedule. The Judiciary Committee may hear AB50 on no fault automobile insurance Tuesday after the bill stalled in the Senate last session. The Senate keeps virtual sessions as 20 of 40 seats are up for election.

Donald Crisp Dies at 91 After 500 Films Transcending Silent Era
Veteran actor Donald Crisp, a Scotsman turned star of stage and screen, died at 91 in Van Nuys California. He won the 1941 Oscar for How Green Was My Valley and appeared in The Birth of a Nation Wuthering Heights and many other classics. Born July 27 1882 in Abberfeldy Scotland Crisp began in silent films before transitioning to talkies and later worked in radio and television. He spent retirement at the Motion Picture Country House in Woodland Hills California.

FBI doubts new tape from SLA message in Berkeley
