The Board of Supervisors authorized sending a letter to Assemblyman MacGillivray on AB 1428 to confirm Carpinteria title to lands and submerged areas. It renewed a 10 year land use agreement with the U S Government for a one acre old school site near Vandenberg AFB. A two week extension was granted for a planning hearing on MGIC Equities RV park at Hollister Ranch. Debates on a regional shopping center near Hollister Ave and Storke Rd continued. An amendment to MGIC rezoning from agricultural to preserve agricultural status was discussed. Pepsi Cola was granted a sign variance on South Blosser Rd. The board approved the Pepsi Cola appeal.
