Brownie Troop 147 planted flower seeds and studied flowers, and a Saint Patrick’s Day party for a Cadette troop was postponed to March 25. Junior Troop 276 held a farewell party for Mrs. Carey with a Green Angel Award and train ride to San Luis Obispo, Mitchell Park, and the Mission. Coast Guardsman Seaman George Busby of St Louis set a milk chugging record on Cape Wash, 6.2 seconds beating a Guinness record.
