McManus Threatens Suit Over Dane County Women’s Voter Group
Attorney Jack McManus says the Dane County League of Women Voters imposes a female only membership clause and may sue to gain men entry. The group has withheld his full membership check while he decides on associate status with no voting rights. Services for Joseph F. Pospisil, 53, a former Lompoc resident, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Dudley Hoffmann Mortuary in Santa Maria. He worked 23 years for Bill Ebbert Construction Co and left a widow Audrey four children and six grandchildren. Interment will follow in Santa Maria.
