Man holds knife to woman at airport extortion attempt

Dennis Tillman, 36, of Detroit, threatened a Weir Coo Airport employee with a knife demanding 1 million dollars and a plane. A security officer shot him as he began to injure the hostage, saving the woman identified as Rebecca Dotlich, 22. Tillman survived initial wound. Dotlich suffered a non serious throat wound.

Ethiopian hijack foiled at Entebbe by Amin courage

Passengers said Idi Amin confronted an Ethiopian hijacker at pistol point aboard an East African Airways plane forced from Kenya to Uganda.
