Standard Oil opens all California stations Sundays
Standard Oil Company announced all 235 of its company operated California stations will be open Sundays starting this weekend. The move follows a request by Gov Ronald Reagan. Other majors Union Oil Douglas Gulf and Mobil will also stay open on weekends. Oakland attorney Seymour Rose said gasoline supplies are up and most stations will post Sunday hours by week’s end.
