Miss Deane Drakeley and 1st Lt. Robert L. Pinkard exchanged vows in a March 10 ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of Lompoc. Chaplain Milford B. Barrick officiated. Matron of honor was Mrs. Harry Hayes and best man Captain Daniel T. Larkin. A reception followed at the Branch USDB Officers Club. The couple will begin a two week honeymoon in Take Meade Nevada before returning to Lompoc.

Grangers Mark 5th Anniversary Dinner Planned

Mike Kolding presented the Grange with a painting by her son Merritt Kolding. The work will be framed and hung in the Grange Hall.
