Sorority Gourmet Dinner Showcases Dishes and Plans
Alpha Zeta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha hosted its annual gourmet dinner at Mrs. Charles Stavens home. Menu featured Cannelloni sour cream enchiladas chicken How So taco casserole beef enchiladas and Chinese almond lujun with desserts Harvey Wallbanger cake and lemon bisque pie. Future plans include hospital ward party and scholarships.

The annual Lumen Vitae League event drew 132 players with top finalists Mrs. Frank Ruben and Mrs. Liston Taylor. Co chairs Barbara Holt and Mrs. Robert Garman oversaw a playoff at the Garman home. The marathon raised about $480 for the Children’s Home Society.

Alpha Alpha Rho Beta Sigma Phi held a candlelit ceremony on March 2 at 3828 Rigel Vandenberg Village for the presentation of ritual of jewels degrees to Mrs. Rodger Laffey and Mrs. Philip Hunt. President Mrs. Tolman presented pins and yellow roses. social hours followed. Elections are set for March 20 with votes for girl of the year.

NCO Wives Club Donates To Lompoc Center In Meeting
The NCO Wives Club held a vote for a donation to the Lompoc Drop-In Center after a business gathering with tuna and vegetables. Milly Banzhof received bracelets for five members and the hospitality chair was honored with a prize. Door prize winners were Sophia Blount, Marsha Ball, Loretta Leslie and Pat Windsor. A film titled Lady Beware is planned for tomorrow's Hi and Bye meeting.
