Drunk Driving Conviction Fined in Lompoc Court

Henry Stock 54 of 321 W North Ave Space 52 received a $750 fine and a one year license suspension after a drunk driving conviction in Lompoc Justice Court Judge Terrill F. Cox presided. A prior conviction was stricken for sentencing. Stock was arrested Jan 8. Blustery skies brought three quarters of an inch of rain to Lompoc.

Santa Ynez District opposes south county water meters plan

Storms Bring Tornadoes and Hail From Texas to Ohio Valley

United Press International reports springlike warmth sparked thunderstorms and hail across the central and southern U S. Severe gusts over 70 mph were seen north of Kansas City, with golf ball size hail in Lipscomb Texas and 2.67 inches of rain. A tornado touched down south of Topeka and a late winter storm moved from southern California eastward.
