Flower Festival draws thousands to Lompoc event
The 17th annual Lompoc Valley Flower Festival drew thousands to Ryan Park for a two day event with a record art show, rides, exhibits, and entertainment led by Ken Budd and Ben Bowman. Queen Kay Wishard ball, Barber’s Union whiskerino winners, and a grand prize Pontiac noted. Police praised crowd conduct and traffic managed by 25 Explorer Scouts. Alpha Club report showed strong flower show attendance from many states and abroad.
