Lompoc Flower Festival Weekend Schedule Highlights
A busy Friday and Saturday line up with the 3rd Annual Lompoc Flower Festival Distance Race at Lompot High School and Huyck Stadium, all comers road race, and the United States Track and Field Federation Junior Run. On stage in Ry on Park are music acts, dance demonstrations, and a parade route featuring hot air balloons and a festival queen. The events include a flower show, outdoor art and guitar bands, square dancing, and the Lompoc Valley Historical Society open house. The festival also hosts the Lompoc Tennis Club tournament and a large flower field tour with rides and vendors throughout downtown.

Stan Tulledo notes over 200 Shriners from Southern California will march in Lompo c on Saturday led by 19 units. Cabrillo High School Band hosts as 24th annual festival theme Our Heritage Years unfolds with floral floats, 10 bands, 100 horses, and historic scenes.
