Drought loan fund nears approval for Santa Ynez district
Santa Ynez River Water Conservation District faces approval for a 240000 emergency drought loan from the U S Bureau of Reclamation to drill two wells. Lot split concerns discussed by Santa Ynez advisory group
The Santa Ynez Valley Advisory Committee subcommittee met in Solvang to review Fredensborg Canyon lot split requests and their effect on roads and traffic. Zita Nielsen reported a recent session with Supervisor Hedlund and state agencies. The group plans a draft report for the County Planning Commission and will meet the circulation subcommittee next week, while also noting a July 20 planning commission hearing on a 300 acre rezoning along Calzada Avenue.
