Collett and Chi Top UCLA Track Athletes of Year
UCLA star Wayne Collett and Chi Cheng were named top male and female track athletes by the Southern California Track Writers Association. Collett helped the Bruins win the NCAA mile relay and ran 49.2 in the 440 hurdles while Cheng nearly tied world marks in the 440 and clocked 10.0 in the 100 and 22.7 in the 220.
