Sacramento reports a $9.22 billion state budget agreement between Gov. Reagan and Sen. May inflation slows as meat prices drop

Lompoc Hospital to rescind raises amid Phase III policy

Kenneth D. Wicks, hospital administrator, said the Lompoc Hospital District will roll back five percent salary increases for over 100 employees. The move stems from Nixon Phase III rules nullifying a six dollar daily room charge increase intended to fund the raises. A special meeting is set for June 28 to discuss Phase IV policy clarifications due August 15.
